05Looking at it the other way
Auction is more about the guys in the room than the players.
Nothing you've ever bought does anything with it. But now you have a strategic read on what they are likely to pay before they do.
The leaguemate who chases his own quarterback eleven bucks too high. You let him. Two guys panic on the same tier. You're already past it.
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Now you can be the one throwing it.

- The moment your league starts panic-bidding. See it early and you stay in control. Miss it and you spend the rest of the draft trying to catch up.
- Why everyone keeps passing on one player, and why that can make him the best deal left. The draft gives you clues, even when nobody says a word.
- The player on your roster who looked like a steal but may be hurting your team. It is often the pick you felt best about.

07Be the one they can't figure out
Every league has the spreadsheet guy. And the guy who just keeps winning.
You want to be the second one.
The spreadsheet guy posts projections in the group chat. He makes sure everyone knows how much homework he did.
The quiet winner says almost nothing. He just keeps winning. After a while, everyone starts wondering what he knows.
Be the quiet winner.

It's expensive. On purpose.
One league. One correction. One manager.
I don't want everyone to have this. If everyone in your league had it, none of you would have anything. That's why it's one seat per league, and why I check.
The people who have it don't talk about the cost. They talk about the year they stopped losing.
And no, I'm not selling it to anyone else in your room. That would defeat the whole point. This is just for you... and built to help you dynasty. (As a verb, yes... we're making it one.)
